Hi, I just managed to install SMS on my amd-server, To make it the ultimate server for me i need to install vmware server 2.0.2. i made it thru the installer, but vmware-config.pl cant make it. it fails with "the directory of kernel headers does not match your running kernel.

Hard to belive, i tried to compile my own kernel, i tried in a virtual machine with the basic kernel and devel files. is there anything else i can do?

Did you make a full install of SMS?
You need DEVEL series installed, for buiding kernel modules.
If you haven't select devel series during install, install them, by mounting SMS.Native.CD-Install.iso, navigate to "slackware/devel", and run "./install-packages"

i made the install, and kernel source is there. and i figured it out that its something with the vmware-config.pl, i changed 2 lines, and now it complains about missing autoconf.h, i can find autoconf.h but it is in the wrong folder i guess.
